Detailed Itinerary

Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) you will be met by Signature Safaris’ representative and drive you to your accommodation in Nairobi for overnight stay waiting for your adventures to start on the following day.

Depart early in the morning for the Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the last places on Earth where wildlife thrives in numbers reminiscent of the historic plains and forests of Africa. As the northern extension of the expansive Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is famed for the spectacular seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their predators. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, we embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. The reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions and abundant resident wildlife, and it's one of the few places where you can spot the Big Five during a morning game drive. Many cheetahs in the reserve are so accustomed to vehicles that they often seek shade beneath them and occasionally climb onto the roofs for a better view of potential prey. Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that almost 500 species have been recorded here, including 16 species of eagles, numerous hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 species of bustards (including the Kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.

After breakfast you will drive to Nakuru, arrive in time for lunch and check in at the lodge. Afternoon enjoy a game drive at the Nakuru National Park. Later get back to hotel for dinner and overnight. Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley lakes at an elevation of 1,754 m (5,755 ft.) above sea level. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the rift valley of Kenya and is protected by Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake's abundance of algae used to attract a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lined the shore.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, you can unwind and relax at the hotel while enjoying the serene surroundings. If you're interested, you can opt for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Lake Naivasha is a stunning freshwater lake fringed by papyrus. The lake and its environs are rich in natural wonders, with fertile land and abundant water making it one of Kenya's prime agricultural regions. The lake is surrounded by groves of yellow-barked Acacia Xanthophlea, commonly known as yellow fever trees. These woodlands are home to a diverse array of bird species, making Naivasha a world-renowned birding destination. The lake's waters attract various wildlife to its shores, including giraffes, buffalos, colobus monkeys, and hippos.

After breakfast, you'll drive to Amboseli Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. The afternoon is free for you to relax. In the late afternoon, you'll head out for your first game drive. Amboseli is renowned as the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants, among other wildlife species. The ecosystem primarily consists of savannah grassland, extending across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Other attractions include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak and the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Depart after breakfast for Tsavo East National Park game drive with an enroute game drive to Tsavo East National Park which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions Game enroute to the lodge. Check in and have lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, another game drive at the park later dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Have breakfast at the lodge then check out and leave for Mombasa where you will be dropped off at the resort to check-in for your stays in Diani. Bid your guide driver farewell as he will return to Nairobi. Diani Beach is a major beach resort on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. It is located 30 kilometers south of Mombasa, in the nearby Kwale County and also known to be a popular kite surfing location.

You will spend your days at leisure, exploring the beautiful beach with meals served at the resort. Optional activities, available at an extra cost, include skydiving, scuba diving, snorkeling, and boat trips. Diani Beach stretches approximately 10 kilometers, from the Kongo River in the north to Galu Beach. The sea remains shallow near the shore, with underwater sandbars near the surface, allowing for wading with a clear view of the sandy bottom. The area is renowned for its coral reefs, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and its proximity to Shimba Hills National Reserve, a wildlife reserve overlooking the Indian Ocean.

After breakfast you will be provided with transportation to the Ukunda Airstrip for your domestic flight to Nairobi. Upon your arrival, you’ll eat lunch and then go on a brief city tour. During this tour, you'll have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs. Later you’ll be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight home.
