Tarangire National Park

Enjoy a game drive and picnic lunch in Tarangire National Park today. This lovely park is the kingdom of elephants, birds and baobabs. It has one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the world and the highest number of breeding bird species. Other animals you can spot in this park include giraffes, impalas, lions, leopards, cheetahs, dik dik, mongoose and many more. This Day Trip includes a transfer from Arusha to Tarangire in the morning and back to Arusha in the late afternoon.

Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha National Park Day Trip: game drive & canoeing

Explore one of the smaller national parks in Tanzania on a game drive in the morning and canoeing safari in the afternoon. This park has a rich variety of wildlife and landscapes. From the swampy Ngurdoto Crater and alkaline lakes to dense jungle and the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. You can spot the acrobatic black-and-white colobus monkey, blue moneys, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, pink flamingos and many more. Enjoy a peaceful 2 hours canoeing safari on Momela Lake, which offers you a different perspective on the landscape and wildlife. The park also provides great views of Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru on clear days. This Day Trip includes a transfer from Arusha town (or your lodge) to Arusha National Park in the morning and back in the late afternoon.

Excursion in Ngorongoro Crater

You will take early morning breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive. It’s about 3-hrs drive from Arusha Town.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

Mount Kilimanjaro Excursion

 After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel, and we drive to Moshi for a day trip excursion at Kilimanjaro Mountain.

While at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro you will be taken to a point where you can have a good view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. After viewing the Kilimanjaro you will also have a walking tour to Marangu waterfalls, i.e  Ndoro waterfalls or Kilasia waterfalls,  you will have a chance to visit historical sites of clan wars and ancient legend including caves used for hiding during the Chagga – Maasai wars, etc.Late afternoon you will drive back to Arusha

Kilimanjaro Day Hike to Mandara Hut

After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guide, drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (about 2 hour from Arusha), register and commence the climb.Walk through the rain-forest to the Mandara encampment. A side trip to Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. In the rain-forest, look for towering Eucalyptus trees, bird life, and Colobus monkeys.

After lunch, hike back to park gate and drive back to Arusha

Serval Wildlife Sanctuary

Serval is a home to  different animals such as the Lions, Calm Colobus Monkeys, Masai Giraffes, Nocturnal Bat-eared Foxes, Exquisite Elands, Oafish Ostriches, and Mischievous Blue and Vervet monkeys! Offering unforgettable direct interactions with a variety of free-roaming wild animals in the area.

At Serval Wildlife these interactions with animals and birds are very positive and provide enrichment for the animals as the interactions are carefully monitored with trusted and experienced keepers that prioritize Safety, Animal Health and Welfare. Interactions may vary from day to day as our animals interact with humans at their own will and guests must wait for the animal to approach, this allows our animals to interact at will and leave an interaction by simply leaving the area as they please.

We will leave Serval Wildlife early in the afternoon to Kikuletwa hot spring, a visit Kikuletwa Hot springs, and spend some time about 3 hours before heading back to our accommodation. Dried river beds, baobab and acacia trees accompany us on our way. The hot springs of Kikuletwa, also known as Chemka Hot Springs, are close to the village of Rundugai and are one of the most beautiful places in Tanzania to relax. The small pond is surrounded by palm and fig trees with winding roots.Later a driver will take you back to Arusha town  or Moshi where our tour will be completed.
