Mikumi Day Trip Itinerary

Early morning of this day at around 05:30 hours you will be picked up from your residency in Morogoro town and start drive to Mikumi National Park. This Mikumi Day Trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. When you arrive at the park entrance gate you will be checked in and start walking safari from the entrance gate. This safari offers you wilderness experience while walking on foot accompanied by an armed ranger/guide and it takes around 2 to 2 and a half hour. After walking safari, you will continue with game drive till around 13:00 hours whereby you will have lunch break at the Mikumi wildlife Camp within the park.

After lunch and a little rest will continue with game drive around the park covering different areas of interest searching for wild animals. Game drive will continue till around 16:30 hours whereby you will start trip back to Morogoro town and back to your place of residence. In Mikumi expect to see animals such as Lions, Buffalos, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos and more than 300 bird species.

Upon arrival in Morogoro you will be taken to your residence, expect to be back at your residency by 18:00 hours and that will be the end of your day trip with Signature Safari.
