Day 0: Arrival – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to  https://www.tuliahotelandspa.com/ in Arusha for dinner and overnight. Settle into your accommodation, ready to start your safari proper in the morning. Depending on your arrival time, you may have your pre-safari briefing today of  Tanzania Safari ; if not, it will take place early tomorrow morning before depart for safari.

Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, enjoy full day game drive with picnic lunch.The park consists of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.Accommodation will be Octagon Lodge situated amidst colorful and exotic gardens and provides a perfect base for visiting the Northern Parks of Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti.

Day 2: Karatu – Lake Natron

After breakfast you will leave Karatu and head to the Lake Natron. From here you will travel on a spectacular and very bumpy gravel road along the Rift Valley Escarpment with Ol Doinyo Lengai “the holy mountain” of the Maasai in the distance. Today’s destination is the beautiful Masai village of Ngare Sero, an oasis in the hot and dusty Rift Valley. In the distance you will notice a pink glow from thousands of flamingos breeding and feeding on the algae of the alkaline Lake Natron. In the afternoon you will join a Maasai guide on a walk to a nearby waterfall before you return to the campsite at Masai Giraffe Eco Lodge for your overnight .

Day 3: Lake Natron – Serengeti National Park

After an early start, you will travel along adventurous dirt tracks with breath-taking views as your vehicle climbs out of the Rift Valley to reach the grassy plains of the Serengeti by midday. Serengeti means “endless plains” in the language of the Maasai and you will see the grassland savannah stretching to the horizon. The Serengeti is the most famous park in Tanzania and it is home to the largest animal migration on the planet – hundreds of thousands of animals trek to find fresh grass and water.There is a big change you can see the Great Migration of wildebeest in this area of the Serengeti between June to September.The herds must outsmart the crocodiles and fast flowing water before facing predators waiting on the other side. Day 4: Serengeti National Park

The entire day is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. You will either go on a full day game drive or join early morning and afternoon drives in the Seronera area, depending on last night’s stop. Between December and May huge herds of wildebeests and zebras will be seen, with calves and foals being born between January and March. The Seronera area is also the best place to spot the shy and nocturnal leopard.Dinner and overnight will be at the Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge Central, where a delectation of dining, rest and, relaxation await us, and a sleep upon the ‘Endless Plain’ as our minds eye roves over the sights and sounds of the day.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After having a delicious and heavy breakfast, depart for a game drive you will leave Serengeti with a game drive to explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park today while heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central portion of the Serengeti – known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. During the off season of the migration, one must really look out for the many lion pride that thrive in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion pride provide an excellent game viewing experience all year round. Along with a picnic lunch during the full day game drive evening. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be doing another full game drive since the Serengeti is large and vast we can find different areas to exploit and spot animals and when you are lucky enough you can even see some events such as animal hunting and fighting. Later on after this beautiful scenery tour with full of memories we starts our en-route game drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, on the way we will be able to spot different animals and bird species, then upon our arrival at Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge. Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge, situated only a few hundred meters from the crater’s rim, offers a perfect base to explore the Ngorongoro Crater and its surroundings.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

Rise and shine! It is up at daybreak to take on the steep path leading down into the 600 m deep crater. The slopes are forested but soon the landscape changes to savannah with the occasional acacia tree here and there. The wildlife in the crater is just breath-taking and with a little luck you might see the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. You should also see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After an entire morning of game viewing and a picnic lunch in the crater, you will travel to Arusha Town where you will overnight.

Day 7: Departure Day

After a leisurely breakfast, you will have sometime to relax at your hotel or even get a complimentary town tour , basing on your flight schedule you will be picked up from the hotel to the Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airstrip .
