Day 1: Arusha – Lake Eyasi

After breakfast we will start our day of Bushmen 7 Days Safari drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi. We will arrive at afternoon at our accommodation at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge for check in.Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake, accommodation will be at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: On the Trail of the Bushmen

After our breakfast we set out on our saunter through the bush making our way to the area that the Bushmen call home. With our guide on hand to fill us in on our surroundings and on the culture of the Peoples we intend to visit, and a local guide knowledgable in the language of the Bushmen, we are well taken care of on our adventure. This tribe is called the Hadzabe and are a group made up of about ten families. The Hadzabe are welcoming of guests and we will get the chance to engage with them in their home environment and to get an insight into bush life and their unique hunting methods when engaged in capturing game or rodents or gathering insects, roots, and leaves. The Hadzabe live in caves, with little fear of the wildlife that shares their environment. We enjoy our picnic lunch before walking back to camp for dinner and our nights at our accommodation at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Eyasi – Ngorongoro Conservation

After our breakfast at Eyasi we set out at 0830 hrs for the drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at Ngorongoro Crater Rimaking the opportunity to take in the stunning view from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area heights. Having drank of the spectacular view and with our lunch enjoyed we make our way to our selected lodgings to take our relaxation in anticipation of our dinner and chambers to harbor our dreams Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge For dinner and overnight.Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge, situated only a few hundred meters from the crater’s rim, offers a perfect base to explore the Ngorongoro Crater and its surroundings.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Serengeti National Park

fter an early breakfast, depart with picnic lunch and drive to Ngorongoro crater for a full day of game drive. You will wake up early morning, having your breakfast in the morning before starting to depart to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, the 600 m deep caldera you will descend the crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq. kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. Ngoro Ngoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Ngoro Ngoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals. The 5-6 hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. Since Ngorongoro Crater is compact you can have an access to see different and many animals and birds in short period of time. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty ,afternoon you will head out towards Serengeti National Park and travel in the midst of the never ending plain grasslands.You will be taken to the accommodation at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camps.

Day 5: Full day in Serengeti National Park

After our heavy breakfast, we head out to enjoy a full day game drive in search of the migration. We will endeavour to explore the range of different habitats found here that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes, and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains. We will see the awesome sight of the great thronging herds of wildebeest and zebra. During a short time frame around February, normally lasting for about 3 weeks, the majority of the wildebeest calve, dropping in the region of half a million young in this awesome act of synchronised birthing. The sea of grass provides little cover and the young who make easy pickings for a variety of predators, with cheetah being particularly active, alongside simba or leo panthera, our friend the mighty lion, hyena, jackal, and the illusive leopard. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they are born and within 3 days they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd.

After an unforgettable day, we head for our selected lodgings where, after our sumptuous dinner, we may relax by the open air fire upon the ‘Endless Plain’ going over in our minds eye the sights and sounds of the day, with wildlife wandering by, and a Maasai Warrior awaiting to accompany us to our chambers, where our rest beckons.You will be taken to the accommodation at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camps.

Day 6: Serengeti – Lake Manyara National Park

We take the opportunity whilst here on the endless plains to head out for an early game drive, before breakfast to see the animals when they are most active selected after lunch then you will proceed doing game drive out of Serengeti to Karatu.Accommodation will be Octagon Lodge situated amidst colorful and exotic gardens and provides a perfect base for visiting the Northern Parks of Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti.

Day 7: Lake Manyara – Arusha

The final day of our Bushmen Culture Tanzania Safari safari will begin as usual by 8 AM after a luscious breakfast. The destination for today is Arusha via Manyara National Park where you will have a half day game drive. As you enter the national park by 9 AM, lush forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees begin to set the mood for what is waiting ahead. The game drive will go on till mid-afternoon with a small break for a picnic lunch. During the game drive watch out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons and the blue monkeys. Another spectacle of the Lake Manyara National park is the tree climbing lions, however spotting them is a game of luck. In the right season, you can see the shoreline turning pink with millions of flamingos flocking there. By mid-afternoon, you will branch out and head towards Arusha where you will be dropped off to your preferred location by about .
